Your marketing plan should be included in your business plan and contain answers to the questions outlined below:

  • Who are your customers? (Define your target market.)
  • How will you be competitive?
  • Are your markets growing? steady? declining?
  • Is your market share growing? steady? declining?
  • Are your markets large enough to expand?
  • How will you promote you product or service?
  • How will you attract, hold, and increase your market share?
  • How will you sales strategize?
  • What pricing strategy have you devised?

General Marketing Ideas

  • Never let a day go by without engaging in at least one marketing activity.
  • Set specific marketing goals every year.
